Is discrete graphics on a computer im buying from best buy good or bad for gaming?

I would advise against buying a gaming PC from dept. stores. Either build your own or buy from a gaming co. PCs from Best Buy intended for gaming is good for now, but later on when it's time to upgrade it will be very limited by what you can upgrade and by how much.
