Is there such a dog as a miniature Finnish spitz?

We adopted our dog from the shelter a couple of years ago and the shelter couldn't tell us what type of dog it was. It looks like a Finnish Spitz, but it weighs only 20 pounds. My wife and I would love to know if there is such a dog as a miniature finnish spitz. Any opinions would be most appreciated.
