Mccain suspending his campaign?

do you guys think it was a smart idea to suspend his campaign. i know he is a respected member of the senate even though he is not in the committee taking care of the negotiations. maybe his presence there would help. do you guys this it would have been a better idea to not suspend the campaign and let palin take care of it while he is in dc. i mean she can go out campaign, talk to the people, answer questions from concerned citizens etc... i mean if she can run thing nice and smoothly while he is in dc, they might score some points in the polls. people will see that she can handle herself during the difficult time. ok it is just me what do you think
