Help Please...? Family death..Need cheap or free airfare?

A immediate family member has ped away & i'm trying to find low air-fare. I have called for bereavement fares & they are still very expensive. Does anyone know of any charities that can share the cost or any other deals where i can save money because this is last minute and i don't have much money to work with. I tried travelocity & other discount sites but i still can't really afford them.
