In plants, wilting of leaves and stems results from ____.?

There are two possible answers. One is "plasmolysis." As the cells lose water, they pull away from the cell wall. This loss of turgor pressure will cause wilting. Also, "a lack of solutes..." will cause wilting because a loss of solutes results in decreased osmotic pressure- water will be lost by osmosis.
