Rock Cycle - okay here we go, lol?

good suggestion - the youngest, most primitive rock forms in the upper mantle - the explanation I have is that molten rock solidifies at or below "surface of earth" (vague) to form igneous rocks. Uplifting occurs - the rock moves towards the surface and mountains are formed. (okay that was quoting) Wind and rain wash away some of the rock which we call erosion of course..then these bits and pieces (sediments) form sedimentary rock. Over time the sedimentary rock is subjected to high P and forms metamorphic rock - very old rock. This rock gets very dense and eventually - at least in some cases - gets subducted - perhaps into an oceanic trench - melts into the mantle ...and it happens all over again. How was that? Not perfect but pls fill in anywhere - thanks again.
