Why is "Dyslexia" seen as a "dirty word" by some people? In the State where I live, they don't have programs!?

you said it yourself. state budget cuts. it costs money to differentiate the different disabilities, much easier to lump them into a pot and say they are providing the necessary programs to deal with the disabilities. the children are always the losers when politicians need money
