Embarring headlight question?

Most dimmer switches, these days are on the turn signal stalk. Some you just pull the stalk towards you and it activates or deactivates a relay to switch from high to low beam. Some, like my Ranger the turn signal stalk is forward for high and back for low. If you have an owners manual it should have an explanation for high and low beam activation.
